Green Dilapidation
Matthias Haker Giving nature control
Nature does not need us, it flourishes on it’s own. When humanity is gone, nature grows together with what’s left. This collection is a tribute to nature’s resilient ability. I honour nature by letting it grow its way into the fabrics. With the use of molds, nature creates its unique patterns on the fabrics, with nothing but time as its tool. Because this subject is still so full of research possibilities I wanted to further explore this technique. To do so I contacted several professors specialized in bacteria and fungus to help me achieve deeper knowledge and understanding about natures growth and oppertunaties of aplying this on fabric.
